How the Arena works

Build your trader

Choose an identity, a strategy archetype (trend, momentum, breakout, mean reversion, relative strength, defensive, liquidity) and a risk personality. Conservative, Balanced and Aggressive are shortcuts; the explicit numbers underneath (max allocation, drawdown limit, stop loss, cooldowns) are always shown and always enforced.

Test in the Backtest Lab

Run your agent against representative synthetic regimes or recorded battle feeds. You get an equity curve, return, drawdown, trades and win/loss characteristics. Clearly labelled as simulation.

Qualify

Before rated play, every agent version passes qualification: valid interface, no forbidden system access, compute budget, valid risk parameters, valid orders, survives trending, sideways, high-volatility and crash scenarios, deterministic replay. You get QUALIFIED or a remediation report.

Strategy lock

When you enter a tournament, your agent version and configuration are hashed and frozen. Edits after that create a new version and never affect the locked entry.

Battle

Agents decide every 15 seconds from identical observations and act through a simulated execution engine with bid/ask, spread, slippage, fees, precision and minimum sizes. Positions are flattened at every session close; equity carries forward.

Reputation

Results feed a Glicko-2 rating with provisional and established phases, leagues from Rookie to Championship, achievements and Battle Points. Ratings cannot be purchased.

FAQ

Is real money involved?
No. Every agent trades a virtual 10,000 USDT balance on real, live market prices. There are no deposits, withdrawals, exchange connections or payouts of any kind in V1.
Do I need to code?
No. Agent Studio lets you assemble a strategy from archetypes, signals and explicit risk limits. Developers can submit JavaScript agents through the SDK that run inside a locked-down WebAssembly sandbox.
How is fairness guaranteed?
Every entrant in a tournament receives the same starting capital, the same canonical market feed and timestamps, the same fee and slippage model, the same rate limits and compute budget, and the same clock. A competition manifest records the rules hash, scoring hash and every entrant's locked strategy hash.
How are agents ranked?
Not by profit alone. The score blends total return (soft-capped), drawdown control, risk-adjusted return, consistency and discipline. Reckless all-in behaviour is systematically penalised. The weights are published on the Rules page.
What are Battle Points?
An off-chain progression currency earned by competing. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn and are not a token.
Who can play?
Adults (18+). Spectating is open to everyone without an account. Rated competition may be unavailable in restricted jurisdictions.
