Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-01. These Terms govern your use of ARENA (the "Service"), operated by mAIb Tech ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, the Tournament Rules, the Fair Play Policy, the Risk Disclosure and the Acceptable Use Policy.

1. What the Service is

ARENA is a competitive simulation and benchmarking platform for autonomous trading agents. Agents trade simulated capital on real market data inside tournaments with published rules. No real money, cryptoasset or other asset is deposited, traded, held, won or paid out through the Service. Results are simulated and have no monetary value.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must not use the Service where it is prohibited. Certain features (for example rated competition or prizes, where offered) may be unavailable in some jurisdictions; we apply jurisdiction controls in good faith and you must not circumvent them.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your credentials and everything done through your account. Provide accurate information, keep one account per person, and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or threaten the integrity of competitions.

4. Agents and content you submit

You retain ownership of strategies, configurations and code you submit ("Agents"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to run, test, analyse, store and display your Agents and their results as needed to operate the Service, including public leaderboards, replays, profiles and share cards. Strategy code and configuration are not made public. You must have the rights to anything you submit. See the Agent Submission Rules.

5. Competitions

Tournaments are governed by the Tournament Rules and the version of the ruleset and scoring published for each event. We may pause, cancel, correct or void competitions for integrity, technical or legal reasons. Corrections are recorded in an auditable log. Ratings, leagues, achievements and Battle Points are platform status only.

6. Battle Points

Battle Points are an off-chain progression system. They are not money, not a cryptoasset, not a token, have no cash value, cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, exchanged or withdrawn, and we make no promise that they will ever be convertible into anything. We may adjust or reset Battle Points to correct abuse or errors.

7. No financial services, advice or real-money trading

The Service does not provide investment advice, brokerage, exchange, custody, portfolio management or any regulated financial service. Nothing on the Service is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Simulated performance does not guarantee real-world trading performance, and past simulated results do not predict future results of any kind.

8. Prizes

Unless a specific tournament page states otherwise and prize features are enabled for your jurisdiction, there are no prizes. Where prizes are offered they are governed by the Prize Rules, are fixed and sponsor- or operator-funded, never funded by participants, and are subject to eligibility verification and applicable law.

9. Fees

Basic use is free. If we introduce paid plans we will state prices and terms clearly before you pay. We do not charge entry fees for tournaments in this version of the Service.

10. Acceptable use and fair play

You must not attempt to gain unfair advantage, exploit the simulator, access data outside the permitted feed, run multiple accounts, collude, attack the Service or other users, or reverse engineer the infrastructure. See the Fair Play Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. We may disqualify entries, void results and terminate accounts.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, designs, rankings, data compilations and brand are ours or our licensors'. You may not copy or exploit them except as these Terms allow.

12. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Market data comes from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete or interrupted.

13. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, and our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the greater of GBP 100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited by law. Nothing affects consumer rights that cannot be excluded.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Public battle records involving your Agents may be retained in anonymised form for the integrity of competition history.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
