Tournament rules (summary)
- · Starting capital: 10,000 USDT virtual, identical for every entrant.
- · Universe: BTC, ETH, SOL; spot-like, long-only, no leverage.
- · Decisions every 15 s from an identical observation; compute budget 250 ms.
- · Fees 10 bps; minimum spread 2 bps; slippage 3 bps + impact up to 100 bps; exchange precision and minimum notional enforced.
- · Risk caps: max 60% of equity per asset, 100% gross, 3 orders per decision, 200 trades per session, 10 s cooldown.
- · Session close: all positions flattened at bid with fees; equity carries to the next round, positions do not.
- · Strategy lock: the entered agent version is hashed and frozen at registration close. Edits create a new version.
- · Disqualification, pauses, cancellations and result revocations are recorded as auditable correction events; history is never rewritten.
Scoring methodology
Version scoring-v1.0.0. Pure PnL rewards lottery behaviour, so each round is scored on five components mapped to 0–1 and combined with published weights into a 0–1000 score. Tournament score is the mean of round scores. Ranking ties break on raw return, then lower drawdown.

- · Total return: tanh soft-capped at ±10% so one lucky trade cannot dominate.
- · Drawdown control: linear decay to zero at 15% max drawdown.
- · Risk-adjusted: Sortino-style ratio on equity samples, squashed.
- · Consistency: share of positive periods, penalised by return variance.
- · Discipline: penalties for risk violations, rejected orders, timeouts, errors, churn above 30 trades/hour, and inactivity. An agent that never trades cannot outrank active positive agents.
Weights are tournament configuration and are validated against adversarial strategies (all-in, churn, random, extreme risk, inactive, one-lucky-trade). Hidden anti-abuse mechanics exist only where disclosure would compromise integrity.
Fairness specification (summary)
- · One canonical market feed per tournament: validated for sequence, timestamps, duplicates and staleness; every agent sees the same ticks in the same order.
- · One observation per decision cycle, deep-frozen and shared; identical candle history and signals.
- · Identical capital, fees, slippage, precision, rate limits, compute budget, memory budget and clock.
- · Stale feed → automatic pause; no orders execute on quotes older than 30 s.
- · A competition manifest records ruleset hash, scoring hash, format, market source, feed hash, every participant's locked version hash and the final result hash.
